On-demand services have been in existence for many years, but are typically isolated to very select markets. The need has grown being the standard markets and developed as a commonplace need for more traditional markets such as the corporate market or commercial market. Long-term contracts were no a requirement and buy-out ratios and cancelation fees did not exist. Doing More with Less: On-Demand Solutions

Problem. EBS was contacted by a local medium scale training facility. The organization had unscheduled, immediate needs ranging from catering support to event coordination to janitorial services. The primary issue was previous-used vendors required the organization to sign annual agreements regardless of the fact that many of the needed services were strongly inconsistent (i.e. catering was not needed daily but upon request and on an unpredictable schedule). Every year, the organization would sign contracts to ensure they had the support they needed to deliver their products to the consumers regardless of the pricing structure issues and inconvenience of scheduling.

Resolution. After review of the facility and rationalization of the annual events, the organization determined the best solution for the organization was to optimize the service with no contract and a broad on-demand service offering.
